Unlike Most Commercial Dog Food, Our Food Has...

MEAT MEAL (10).png

Meat "meal" is usually the 1st or 2nd ingredient in commercial kibble and wet food. Made from meat unfit for human consumption, including diseased animals, rotten meat, floor scraps and road kill, it's processed at high temperature and pressure to kill bacteria. This processing method also kills alot of the nutrients in the already poor quality meat.

Long term daily use synthetic preservatives can lead to serious health complications including allergies and skin problems, liver and kidney disease, and cancer. Some of these chemicals have other uses as well, including use as pesticide and as an ingredient used in production of rubber, laundry detergent and anti-freeze.

Food dyes and flavoring need to be sprayed on to imitate meat so that your dog will eat it. Food dyes have been associated with allergic reactions, organ damage and cancer. Corn syrup and sweeteners can lead to obesity, diabetes and hyperactivity.

Poor quality ingredients and over processing leave the end product with very little nutritional value. Synthetic nutrients are added to the end product but synthetic nutrients are not identical to the nutrients found naturally in food, so they aren't utilized by the body in the same way. Excesses of synthetic nutrients can cause devastating disease including anemia, paralysis and cancer.
